We spent Saturday at the Shaker Village Country Fair surrounded by fall color.
Baby Inka was born in August.
These dudes were watching over Inka.
Back in the “Brick Building”, we toured the kitchen, bedrooms, and sewing room.
I grew up sleeping on a rope bed. I did not grow up in a yellow bedroom.
The Shakers painted the inside and outside of their buildings shades of yellow, ochre, and red – making this the best time of year to visit the village.
(that’s Anuj and I standing in between two buildings photographing each other photographing the buildings. not arty, just accidental.)
On our way home, we hit The Berry Patch for some orange of our own.
Hope you had a great weekend.
